Health at Posh: Our Commitment to You

 

To all of our Posh friends and family, we want to reassure you of the measures of hygiene and safety that we take in the salon each and every day to ensure that it is safe for our guests. As our measures increase due to the spreading reach of COVID-19, we want to let you know that we are continuing to follow applicable health and safety measures recommended by the CDC.

 

You’ll notice the following statement on our website as well as on our doors at the salon.

“At Posh, the health and safety of our clients and staff is a top priority.  If you are experiencing signs or symptoms of illness, please call our guest relations team and we will be glad to reschedule your appointment without penalty.  Thank you for your cooperation.”

We want to ensure that you feel confident in the measures we are taking to keep our salon a happy and healthy place to be. We are also going to be suspending beverage services and not offering hand massages in response to guidance from Aveda. If you have any questions about what we’re doing to keep the salon clean and safe, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. In addition to added disinfecting and increased precaution, we’ve also updated our cancellation policy and kept our employees informed on how to protect themselves and thus protect our salon.

 

Updated Cancellation Policy

In light of COVID-19, we’re changing our cancellation policy for the time being to account for current happenings as news about the virus is updated and our guests make decisions best for their own health. While our cancellation policy typically requires 24-hour notice, at Posh, the health and safety of our clients and staff is a top priority. If you are experiencing signs or symptoms of illness, we ask that you postpone your service until you’re well again. This is both a measure of safety for your own health and for the health of each person in our salon. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to illness, please call our guest relations team and we will be glad to do so without penalty. Please do so as soon as you feel is necessary, as the more time to let our stylists know, the better. 

 

Keeping Employees Healthy

Our team is preparing to serve you best while also taking care of themselves. Posh employees experiencing fever and symptoms of respiratory illness, such as cough or shortness of breath, are encouraged to contact their healthcare provider and not come to work. In addition, our employees have been given the same CDC hygiene guidelines listed below:

 

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds

  • Use an alcohol-based sanitizer if hand washing is not available

  • Keep away from others that are sick and stay home when sick

  • Avoid touching high-touch surfaces in public places as well as your face, nose, eyes, etc.

  • Sneeze and cough into tissue or elbow
