JOIN THE POSH TEAM!

If you’ve read our posts or been into our salon and thought to yourself, “this would be a fun place to work,” today’s post is for you! Posh is growing…and we’d love for you to join us! Currently, we have two positions open that we’re looking to fill.

 

POSITION ONE: SEASONAL SALON ASSISTANCE

An immediate need, we’re looking for an extra set of hands to help us around the salon. We’d love to hire someone on as soon as possible to work through the new year with us. The holidays can be an especially busy time, which is why we’d love to have someone who is able to help us out with our daily tasks as we welcome in guests and help them feel their absolute best.

Responsibilities will include keeping our salon clean and organized, assisting with laundry, and helping out in various ways among our team. We’d love this seasonal employee to join us for full-time hours throughout this temporary, seasonal position. Please keep in mind that this position would require being on your feet and moving throughout the salon.

POSITION TWO: GUEST RELATIONS TEAM MEMBER

If you’ve ever called or come into the studio, you’ve likely interacted with our Guest Relations team. Interested in being one of the smiling faces that greet guests and handle all their appointments and inquiries? We’re looking for our newest Guest Relations team member.

Responsibilities will include answering phones, attending to our guests’ needs, checking guests out after their appointments, helping in the retail area, and other various tasks as needed. This position is part-time with the potential to be full-time. Benefits include salon services at a discounted rate, discounted Aveda products, and full-time employees are eligible for medical and retirement benefits and vacation pay.

 

In a previous blog post, we caught up with Lizzy to learn more about the Guest Relations Team. How would she describe the ideal Guest Relations team member? 

  • Hardworking  We’re on our feet all day! Comfortable (and stylish) shoes are key.

  • Multitasking  Each one of us has at least six different things going on simultaneously at any given time. Things can get a little crazy up here at the front!

  • Dedicated – We truly believe in the atmosphere Posh has created and love being a part of making guests feel fabulous.

  • Caffeinated – Let’s be honest…coffee, tea, or Coca-Cola is what keeps us running!

  • Creative – The great thing about working on this team at a salon is that we all share a passion for the beauty and style industry. This passion and background knowledge helps us to be the best at what we do.

  • Professional – We handle every situation with the same professionalism and with our guests’ happiness in mind.

  • Friendly – We’re always excited to meet new people and introduce you to the salon. Making you feel comfortable means we’re doing our job right!

  • Caring – It’s all about the details and personalizing the experience for each guest!
