We’ve had not one, not two, but SIX level jumpers in our salon! Beginning September 1st, our six level jumpers will assume their new levels and promotions…and we couldn’t be more excited! Today, we wanted to highlight each of them as we celebrate their new accomplishment.
While you may know them for their talent and hearts, it’s important to recognize the hard work our stylists put in behind the scenes. At Posh, we prioritize continuing education. While our stylists are each individually talented, continuing their education allows them to provide guests with the top-notch experience and service that we’re known for across Williamsburg.
We’re excited to celebrate CJ, Makensie, Meghan, Lexi, Chelsea, and Dana as they each make level jumps effective this September! Each of these women have put in the time and effort to earn these level jumps and we’re proud to share a little bit about each of them with you today.
CJ, who recently level jumped in April, is now a Level 4 stylist, bringing with her even more enthusiasm and expertise. CJ is both a stylist and Director of Education here at Posh. Having been a stylist for the past 10 years, she has extensive experience behind the chair and in the world of AVEDA, as she previously worked as an AVEDA Institute Instructor and as a Guest Relations Manager at an AVEDA lifestyle salon in Tampa. She specializes in color techniques, hair extensions, keratin treatments, and special occasion styling. Outside of the salon, you can find her spending time with her family and dog. Congratulations, CJ!
Makensie has jumped to a Level 2! You might recognize her from our recent blog on bridal hair. Known for her talent of braiding, she continues to further her education in and love for all things hair. Makensie got her start at the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill, NC and we’re so happy to call her one of our stylists here at Posh. She enjoys doing balayage, updos, and braiding, and works with many of our bridal guests. Makensie is both a lover of hair and animals! Outside of the salon, you can find her caring for her animal farm and spending time with family and friends. Congratulations, Makensie!
Meghan has also jumped to a Level 2! She has been in the beauty industry for the past 7 years and enjoys continuing her education to bring her best foot forward to each guest she serves. Her favorite thing about Posh is the energy she feels working in the salon as she helps each guest she works with achieve their own individual look while building a relationship with them. She specializes in highlights, lowlights, blowouts, and smoothing treatments. Outside of the salon, you can find her spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and enjoying the beach. Congratulations, Meghan!
Lexi is making her jump to a Level 4 stylist as we celebrate her today! Lexi is both a Stylist and Esthetician and is an AVEDA Institute graduate for both cosmetology and esthetics, making her a perfect fit for our team at Posh. In addition to being a talented and driven hair stylist, she also specializes in waxing services here at the salon. In her time outside the salon, she enjoys spending time outdoors going to the beach and camping. She was recently married last fall and had many Posh team members there to celebrate with her, showing how our team bond goes far beyond time spent at the salon. Congratulations, Lexi!
Chelsea is also making the jump to Level 4, and we’re so thrilled for her! Chelsea has been with us since 2011 and makes her clients’ hair dreams come true. She specializes in all color techniques, curly hair, and specialty cuts. Take a peek through her Instagram and you’ll see all the gorgeous color and perfect bob cuts she has done for past guests. She is also licensed to perform eyelash extensions and keratin smoothing treatments. Chelsea stays up to date with the latest hair trends and techniques to continue making guests feel their best. She enjoys spending time outside of the salon with family. Congratulations, Chelsea!
Dana will be jumping to a Level 3! She has been in the hair and beauty industry for the past 9 years and specializes in customized cutting and color techniques for any length and texture. She loves the creative process of being a stylist and enjoys styling hair for both casual and formal events. Outside of the salon, she loves spending time with her family, painting, traveling, and listening to live music. She recently welcomed her second baby this past June! We love watching our Posh family grow their own families and being able to support them along the way. We are so excited for all that lies ahead. Congratulations, Dana!
